EARLY INFLUENCES
His first introduction to design was from skateboard companies graphics and logos. As he got older, he grew a passion for heavy metal music and horror movies, often scribbling their logos into his homework. Later in highschool in his film studies class he was shown the film Seven. After seeing Kyle Cooper’s legendary title sequence for the first time he was hooked into the world of motion design and visual identities; that is where his journey began.
Following highschool he discovered electronic music, including Aphex Twin and the work of Chris Cunningham. He grew a deep passion for experimenting with graphics, leading him to the work of David Carson and Raygun magazine. During this time he also dove deep into the world of foreign cinema and grew a liking for experimental and arthouse films.
He now draws inspiration from all of these sources giving him a unique and dynamic perspective to the world of design.
